Community Projects
Tourism that creates value
beyond the journey
At Peru Grand Travel (PGT), we believe tourism can create meaningful connections not only for travelers, but also for the people and communities that make each destination unique.
Over the years, we have participated in initiatives that bring our team, travelers, and local communities together through activities focused on environmental care, community participation, and local development.
These actions are part of a broader commitment: to contribute positively to the places where we operate while respecting their culture, identity, and way of life.

Our Approach
Growing together with
local communities
Responsible tourism is not only about visiting a destination respectfully. It is also about recognizing the people who live there and finding ways for tourism to generate value locally.
That is why PGT seeks to work with local guides, artisans, families, suppliers, entrepreneurs, and communities, strengthening the connection between travelers and the places they visit.
Community in Action
Small actions can create
meaningful connections
Environment
Caring for the places we share
PGT has participated in cleanup activities and initiatives that encourage greater care for natural areas and places connected to tourism.
Communities
Building relationships locally
Our community initiatives seek to create closer relationships with local people while respecting their traditions, identity, and knowledge.
Local Development
Creating value through tourism
Working with local guides, artisans, families, suppliers, and entrepreneurs helps keep part of tourism’s economic value within the destinations travelers visit.

Connections that go
beyond tourism
One of the communities connected to PGT’s community initiatives is Umasbamba, in Cusco.
Through activities carried out with local participation, these experiences have created opportunities for our team and travelers to connect more closely with the people behind the destination.
For PGT, these moments reinforce an important idea: travel becomes more meaningful when there is respect, participation, and genuine connection with local communities.
Since 2026

ACCOMPANY

A Shared Responsibility
When tourism grows,
communities should grow too
Tourism connects destinations with people from around the world. We believe that connection also brings responsibility.
Our goal is to continue developing a way of traveling that values local culture, supports local participation, and contributes to the places that make every journey through Peru possible.
Because a meaningful journey should leave more than memories.
