Peru Grand Travel, also known as PGT, is a Peruvian inbound travel agency founded in Cusco, specializing in personalized travel experiences throughout Peru.

Since 2010, we have grown from the heart of the Andes, combining local expertise, careful planning, and personalized service to connect travelers from around the world with Peru’s cultural, historical, and natural richness.

2010

The Beginning

Peru Grand Travel was born in Cusco from the entrepreneurial vision of its founder, Clever Ponce.

2010–2012

Building the Foundations

Two years were dedicated to developing supplier relationships, building networks, investing in marketing, and gaining deeper knowledge of tourism operations.

2012

Official Operations

PGT officially began operations. Some of our first travelers came from the United States to experience Machu Picchu and the Short Inca Trail.

2014

A Growing Team

What began as a small operation evolved into a growing organization with a team of approximately five to seven people.

Over the years, PGT has participated in community projects, including cleanup activities and initiatives carried out in partnership with communities such as Umasbamba in Cusco. 

Our operations also seek to include local guides, artisans, families, suppliers, and entrepreneurs, helping create a more direct connection between travelers and the places they visit.

Our Founder

Clever Ponce

Founder, Director & General Manager

PGT’s story began in 2010 with the entrepreneurial vision of Clever Ponce, a professional trained in Tourism and Business Administration.

In the early years, he worked directly across sales, reservations, operations, guiding, transfers, and transportation, gaining first-hand knowledge of what it takes to create a complete travel experience.

Today, he leads PGT’s continued evolution, focused on strengthening the organization, its people, and the purpose that has guided the company from the beginning.
