Overview

To enjoy a short but excellent adventure there is this magnificent tour. Cusco Rafting is a unique experience of freedom and adrenaline for people with restless spirit. This excursion will take place in the most important sector of the Urubamba River, in the Cusipata village, where the river is cleaner and without pollution. We will enjoy this rafting in class III and III+ rapids. In addition, we will finish enjoying the zip line.

 

Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco - Rafting (Cusipata, Chuquicahuana) - Cusco
The trip starts between 8:30 am and 8:50 am approximately, our guide and transportation will pass by your hotel to transport you to the meeting point which is the “Cusipata River Lodge”, 85 km from the city of Cusco, where you can leave your backpack, in this place we will find hot showers, sauna and a comfortable room to relax.

Our guide/instructor will inform you about the river condition and will give you the necessary technical and safety indications for the activity.

Then we will give you the rafting equipment and we will drive for 10 minutes to Chuquicahuana, where we will start the rafting with paddling training and safety procedures.  The route lasts approximately 2 hours.

At the end of the rafting, you will return in our transportation to the meeting point “Cusipata River Lodge”, where you will have lunch included, and then you can rest and enjoy the zip line (it has 4 cables of 100 meters long).

In the afternoon you will return in our transportation to the hotel in Cusco city.

What to Bring
  • Bathing suit, shorts or bermuda shorts, half sleeve polo shirt, sun block (essential), hat, mosquito repellent and sunglasses.
