Day 2: City Tour Lima

Next, we’ll head to Qorikancha, where you can admire the impressive architectural fusion of Wari, Inca, and colonial styles. From there, we’ll visit the famous Sacsayhuamán, an Inca site known for its massive stones, once considered the temple of the lightning god, Illapa.

One of the most significant places for the Incas was Q’enqo, a ceremonial center dedicated to offerings and sacrifices to Pacha Mama, the sacred goddess of fertility.
As our final stops, we’ll explore two nearby archaeological sites close to Sacsayhuamán. First, Puka Pukara, a military fortress offering breathtaking views of the area once known as Antisuyo.
